From an early age I have had a passion for gardens. From school I travelled widely and then I worked in a local Nursery specialising in large exotic plants and trees and went on to study at Easton Horticultural College. There I obtained a NVQ 2 in amenity horticulture and received the 'best student' award for the year. I then went on to become a Head Gardener where I managed several large properties and enhanced my experience both in design and soft landscaping. From there it seemed a natural stepping stone and a great opportunity to start up my own landscape garden service which I did in 2000. I felt I would like to offer my clients an individual design service and have now built up a portfolio of garden designs/plans which I have designed and implemented.
I specialise in companion planting where I have the ability to take an existing border and revitalise it or to design and create a new one. |

After
As you can see from the photos, the work carried out is to a very high standard and has made a significant difference to this garden. The ground no longer slopes and a raised border has been added to frame the overall area. This results in a low maintenance courtyard with more natural daylight.
